Nice review... Two other issues since then.... Perhaps take another look at that mission statement. We care! Do you?

I think the Dandy is currently hilarious. The Beano is pretty good too, but appears to be aimed at a younger audience then the Dandy. I don't know what the sales figures are these days, but kids have so much else to draw their attention.

There is one thing I suppose you could say is 'Fearful' about Fredde- when there's a full moon he turns into a werewolf, but this condition has hardly ever been focused upon and the only example of this that I can think of is his Debut appearence. (Back when Dave Eastbury didn't use orange gradients like they were going out of fashion)

I don't like freds foul facts or rodgers dodge diary, its just a boring version of rodgers dodge clinic. the rodger the dodger story is also a re-print :/ - the beano is turning into a magazine, it should learn from the dandy mistakes................

Thanks for the comment, Harry! We're quite comfortable with the tone and style in which we write -- The Review is primarily an exercise in satire and editorial voice, after all. But thanks for taking an interest,

Yours, respondingly,

The Beano Review

I find it unfair how you review certain comic strips like Minnie the Minx. You base it on whether or not the Teacher appears or not, you don't base it around the storyline or the artwork. It's unfair, the story was brilliant yet because the Teacher did not appear it's awful. How's that fair?!

Also you're taking the mick out of Davey Law's Dennis the Menace. Not a wise move. I don't mind his artwork but still, you're harsh about it and all you do is make comments about his 'detached retinas', and you think that's funny? Well, I can tell because of that you've lost several fans because of your silly insults towards Davey Law.

Also Billy Whizz was explained very clearly, you were probably just too busy mocking the strip to realise. Billy Whizz is saying that there is a zombie film in town, he goes to watch it being filmed but discovers that they're taking hours to do each person's zombie make-up, then Billy makes them all zombies really quickly thanks to his speed. Simple.

And who asks a stupid question like that about the Numskulls, so now you base The Numskulls on whether or not Blinky and his glasses are in it? How the hell is that fair? It's a kids comic for crying out loud, who cares?!

One final thing, I believe you should base the comic strips on the storyline as well as the artwork. Also ignore the perspective nonsense and whatever else, I doubt you could do any better.

I find your reviewing both poor and a bit pathetic really. That's all from me.
